It's amazing how overeating is always related to something else going on. I'm seeing the coolest nutritionist.....she does NLP work, re-programming your shit, and I'm loving it. It was like the elephant in the room no one talked about, but we all knew it and sometimes she would get so dangerously thin. But I always thought back then that this was a woman who felt she had no say in her life and vomiting food was her way of feeling like she had some control. I was taken aback when you wrote, "We religiously teach ourselves that, controlling our weight will give us a feeling of control over our lives." And I thought of her. I cannot wait to read this book! You know Veronica, we had this family member that everyone knew was vomiting in the bathroom after meals to stay thin.
