I Got A Feeling That This Year Is Gonna Be a Good Year

Oprah with the black eyed peas in chicago

While resting and recuperating from this cold that has kicked several of the 8 Women Dream’s proverbial butts, I had the opportunity to get plenty of sleep, look at where I want to be at the end of 2010,  and catch-up on a bit of Oprah.

Lucky for me, she provided me with my video of the week.

For this week’s motivational video I invite you to watch the following anytime you need motivation to kick off your dreams in 2010.

Black Eyed Peas I got a feeling on Oprah Chicago Flashmob 24th —

I hope this provide you with the inspiration to do something for your dream today.

Keep on dreaming!

Great video of the Black Eyed Peas and Oprah. I will never understand why Oprah doesn’t do dancing as her form of fitness instead of all that crazy fitness stuff that she obviously doesn’t like that is created all by men.

Oprah is such a great person. Always giving and giving and giving! If only the world was filled with more people as kind spirited as she is. The funniest part of this video is when she starts jumping up and down.

Great Video! I love the earlier Black Eyed Peas music. I have seen some of the other videos of flash mob dancers. I think my son turned me on to them. Very cool!

I know! Don’t you just love it that all those people came together and learned that routine for the song! Oprah’s reaction is hilarious – makes me smile every time. Great song too. Love the Black Eyed Peas.

This performance by the Black Eyed Peas was to kick off the last season of Oprah. They decided to stage the largest single city ‘flashmob’ dance event ever without Oprah’s knowledge. The BEP teamed up with choreographers to create a dance routine for the band’s “I Gotta Feeling” hit and then called on 800 fans to help them carry out the spectacle. The 800 were taught the moves and then they passed them on to another 20,000 Oprah fans, who showed up for the taping of the free block party show in Chicago. It is a cool video.

This is a pretty cool video. I wonder how they got everyone to do this together. It looks like about 30k people. I am going to have to Google this and see what the story is behind the video. I know Oprah is rich, but there is no way she paid that many people to dance. I can always use a stare at Fergie.

Watching this crowd go from one crazy lady dead center front to the WHOLE group dancing in sync, and of course, Oprah’s total genuine reaction – What a way to put a smile on my face. Power of influence (or a pre-choreographed dance) and the energy created by everyone having the ‘same vision’ or the ‘same goal’ –
Great way to start the year. Thanks Cath

  • I love this video!! I saw it in September when it was live!! Great, great, fun video. Oprah’s reaction is the best part of it.
