Hello my Thankful Thursday dreamers!
This week I have much to be grateful for. I turned 31-years-young and I also celebrated my third year as a blogger. Milestones should always be celebrated my dear dreamers. I am grateful for all of you who wished me happy birthday through social media and also came to my blog to acknowledge my third year.
Running a blog is hard work and I am so grateful when you show up to tell me that my words have meaning in your life. It’s why I do this–it’s why I have this international public speaking dream–so I can inspire others to work though their darkness and create a better life for themselves.
I have struggled with my own sadness and doubt and I want to be a beacon of light to others dealing with pain and uncertainty. If you stick with your dreams you will eventually overcome and live in the light that you seek.
And since this is such a big week for me, I want to share with you 8 of my favorite best gratitude websites so that when you think life is being too harsh and unforgiving that you can find hope in a multitude of places.

ANGL provides education and support for the practice of grateful living as a global ethic, inspired by the teachings of Br. David Steindl-Rast and colleagues. Gratefulness – the full response to a given moment and all it contains – is a universal practice that fosters personal transformation, cross-cultural understanding, interfaith dialogue, intergenerational respect, nonviolent conflict resolution, and ecological sustainability.
The Greater Good Science Center at the University of California, Berkeley—in collaboration with the University of California, Davis—launched a $5.6 million, three-year project, Expanding the Science and Practice of Gratitude.
This project is supported with funding from the John Templeton Foundation.

The Look for the Good Project is a nonprofit organization which shifts attitudes with gratitude to bring meaning and purpose to people’s lives. In a world riddled with problems, it’s easy to dumb down and tune out… assuming that nothing we do really matters. Disconnected and overwhelmed, we lose hope and give up on our own ability to ignite change.
That’s why the Look for the Good Project focuses on gratitude. This simple shift in attitude helps us reclaim our lives – giving us the courage to accept ourselves, to confront our problems, and learn how to be part of the solution. Simply put, gratitude changes everything!
Is it possible to harness the power of gratitude through a photo? That’s just what Hailey Bartholomew did with her 365 Grateful Project, not only changing her life, but the lives of countless others by inspiring them to create their own gratitude projects.
Taking one photo every day of something she was grateful for re-programmed her brain. Seeing and celebrating the good in her life affected not only the way she felt spiritually and physically but it improved her relationships with others too.

In a stuck moment, it’s hard to see positive forces when obstacles are blaring and fears are looming. This is a good time to be grateful. Not grateful for what has us stuck, but appreciating what doesn’t. Gratitude helps us see our situation is a way that can lessen panic, and could open up our thinking to new solutions.
