Positive Thursday: When Reaching for Your Dreams Don’t Get Stuck

Happy Positive Thursday! I am traveling for the holidays and my birthday so I am leaving you with some quick dream advice for the new year:

Embrace change and don’t get stuck

Don’t get stuck in your same old patterns, lifestyle choices and the daily grind. Get out every once in awhile and do something new! exciting! fun! Whether it’s taking a new class, trying out a new coffee shop, meeting a new friend or something else, get outside of your comfort zone. Even on the days that aren’t “exciting”, be thankful for a new opportunity to live and influence the world around you.

Some quotes on embracing change –

“Become a student of change. It is the only thing that will remain constant.” ~Anthony D’Angelo’

“When patterns are broken, new worlds emerge.” ~Tuli Kupferberg

“God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it’s me.” ~Author Unknown

“It’s the most unhappy people who most fear change.” ~Mignon McLaughlin

“All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another.” ~Anatole France

“If nothing ever changed, there’d be no butterflies.” ~Author Unknown

It’s a new day! Go out there and embrace some change!

When I feel stuck, I get out this quote from a card I keep in my pocketbook ” You can be absolutely certain that when you feel you are being most unfairly tested, you are being prepared for great achievement.” It is by Napoleon Hill. It always makes me feel like I can move forward.
